Shirley Boys/Avonside Girls School Gymnasium, Christchurch

After extensive damaged caused by the Canterbury earthquakes, both Shirley Boys High School and Avonside Girls High School were rebuilt on a combined campus with a state of the art design including two gymnasiums, one that can be split in half and one with a climbing wall.

Before the earthquake, each of the schools were a considerable size, combined the campus now caters to 2400 pupils. So when it came to the building of the gymnasiums, they required the best heating option to heat this very large space.
