Comfortline Ceiling Foils are an ideal form of heating for new & existing homes (with ceiling access). They are positioned between the ceiling insulation (Batts) and the plaster ceiling (Gib board) - being installed just prior to "Gib Fixing".
The energy produced by these foils does not directly heat the air. The energy passes through the Gib ceiling and gently but directly warms the occupants, the floors and furnishings in the room which then radiate warmth to the air itself.
The heating effect of Comfortline Ceiling Foils avoids convection drafts, provides an even heating source throughout a room with no "hot" spots, are completely safe for everyone - from young children to the oldest member of the family. Because they located in the ceiling, Comfortline Ceiling Foils allow complete freedom in the placement of room furnishings and avoid heating ducts, chimneys, grills, radiators etc.
