| These elements consist of a temperature resistance element (which regulates the energy (heat) output) placed between two parallel copper conductors. This heat output control takes place at every point along the heating element according to the temperature at that position. If the ambient temperature rises, then the heat output of the element reduces. This self-limiting characteristic prevents overheating - and protects the elements should they cross.
