TWIN CONDUCTOR CABLES

DEVI in-slab heating cables have been changed from single core to twin core cables for residential uses.

This change has been made to eliminate the electro-magnetic field (EMF) generated by currents in single core cables. EMF is the effect that is causing concern in the use of cell phones and although the actual potential to cause harm is not confirmed, it should be avoided where possible. Additionally, twin core cables significantly reduce interference in audio loop systems in public buildings and institutions.

The new cables have the added advantage in simplifying the laying out of cable during installation because only one end need be connected to the power source this reduces installation times.

DTCE-30 for in-slab heating can be used for installation into one room or the whole building. The heating cables are tied to the top reinforcing mesh before the slab is poured and provide economical warmth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DTCE-30 is suitable for use with almost any floor covering available, including ceramic tiles, marble, slate, stone and floating timber floors.
