Deviflex™ Inslab Heating elements

DSOT elements
these are Single Conductor elements - that is, there is a power supply lead on each end of the element. So, when installing, you must plan the placement of the element so that the two ends of the installed element are in the same position. This means bringing the far end of the element back to the start point of your job, always retaining the calculated spacing between the element runs.

DTIP elements
these are Twin Conductor elements - that is, there are two elements inside the cable, joined together at the far end and thus meaning the two power supply leads are both at the Beginning of the element. So, to lay this element, you simply start from the "Cold Tail" point and follow the element spacings until you reach the end point (and end of the element of course).

Devimat™ Undertile Heating Elements

DSVF150 elements
these are Single Conductor elements, mounted on a fine, very strong open weave fibre-glass backing mesh. This ensures that when laying the element, the watts/m² remain even across the entire heated area. The element is only 2.5mm in diameter, so sits neatly into the normal tile adhesive layer. The process of installing Undertile elements differs from that used for the Inslab element described above. The link to the right will provide our Installation Instructions, including some photographs of completed installations to help you to appreciate the process & appearance of an installed element.

Deviguard™

Deviguard
When laying or tiling over your Devimat™ element, you may wish to use a Deviguard to alert you to any damage that may occur to the element during the Laying/Tiling process. Deviguard will emit a loud Tone in the event that the element is cut or if the protective earth screen makes contact with the element itself.
